Jenni Chapman - Owner
Hi! I am Jenni Chapman, Owner of Redeemed Training & Athletics Gym. I am an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
I offer 1:1 in person training, exclusive women's group strength classes, athletic training, couples training, and nutrition coaching.
I train people of all ages, walks of life and degree of ability. My experience personal training has varied from the general health client, to clients with health issues such as POTS, hEDS, Diabetes Type I & II, and epilepsy; as well as young athletes, and women who are pregnant or are in their postpartum period.
I believe in guiding people into radical reidentification of themselves through applying Biblical principles to their health journey. That Jesus Christ is their Foundation and that includes their fitness and nutrition.
I train coming from the belief that competence precedes confidence. I help people gain competency so that they can find their confidence along the way. This confidence doesn't stop in the gym— it spreads to every area of their lives.
My "Why"
In all transparency, I started weight lifting because I didn't like myself— at this point I had struggled 8 years with anorexia. I figured that weight lifting and changing the way that I looked could help me.
Little did I know that before I even walked with Christ, God led me to weight lifting as an avenue to rediscovering just how much I loved and craved knowing what my body was capable of. I didn't know it when I started, but weightlifting would lead me to Him. And through weight lifting, I found THE way that I had always sought out, to help other women who struggled with themselves. One day in the middle of a workout, pregnant with my second child, I stopped and looked around me and thought to myself, "I can do this. I think I want to do this for a living. This is what I can do to help women." From that moment forward, that's what I've done. I've never stopped. This was 2022.
It wasn't until August of 2024 that God completely healed me from anorexia. In moments of true worship, repentance, praying, kneeling and sobbing my heart out to Jesus, anorexia was completely and utterly taken from me. God is good. Always and forever.
